#TheSundayNailBattle - Lady Gaga

Hey there!

Are you ready for some Gaga Nails? Because this week the battle's theme is Lady Gaga. Another great idea from Andreia and Odile !
I remember when I first heard her song Just Dance on the radio. I was like "Whaat? this is going to be another provocative singer, pffff ...". And when Poker Face started airing, I was pffff-ing even more. But then came Paparazzi. And I can't tell what happened when I heard this song, but something changed inside me. I was starting to love her songs. Even the ones I was hating at first.
Then her new album Born This Way came out and it completed my crush for Lady Gaga. I loved this album even more than the previous one.

Anyway, I noticed that Gaga always wears some kind of stiletto nails, that look like paws! So, I decided that I had to do the same to be in the theme!!

So here we go!

And as I was lucky enough to attend her Born This Way Ball in Paris, here's a picture of her while singing Born This Way to conclude this little post!!

Soft Gradient with Lime Crime

So,

Fall is here, and I don't know if it's the same where you're living but here in Brittany, it's raining a lot.
I wanted to do something colorful to cheer me up a little!
At first, I was going to use some neon colors, but I finally took my Lime Crime polishes !
I put two coats of Milky Ways as a base, and I made the gradient with the six other colors.

Here we go:

Taking pics with a macro lens is great, but you can see all the little imperfections and that kind of freaks me out!!
But from a reasonable distance, it looks pretty good !

What do you think about it?

Bye!!

L'Oréal - Rose Bagatelle

Hey girls,

Today I wanted to show you the last l'Oréal polish that I got. This one is Rose Bagatelle.

It's has a pretty good consistency and I love its brush. It's the same as the french Essie's polishes. A wide brush that allows you to apply your polish smoothly.

And I tried a kind of doubled french mani with Nothing Else Metals :

Do you like it?

What other colors from L'Oréal's Color Riche collection would you recommend me to try?

Bye!

#TheSundayNailBattle - Fall Nails

Hey there!

How are you doing? I just came from Lady Gaga's show in Paris. It was so amazing. I'm so glad that I was lucky enough to attend her show!!

So this weeks theme chosen by Andreia and Odile is fall. And we had to use some orange. So I took my Fear or Desire and stamped it with some falling leaves! And here's the result :

Catrice - King of Greens

Hey there!!

Today I'm showing you one of the polishes Andreia offered me. I love how this green has some gold reflects depending on the lighting.

And here's a little stamping over it :

Blue Stripes

When I applied Once in a Blue Mousse on my nails yesterday, this idea came to my mind.
I took all the blue polish shades that I had and went for this blue gradient/stripes nails.

I've seen many of these on pinterest lately with many different colors! I always love how it looks!

What do you think about it?

I was inspired by the little Tatty Teddy bears that I find sooo cute :)

I applied two coats of Once in a Blue Mousse from Lime Crime, and here's the result :

And she once offered me this little thing that means a lot to me :

#TheSundayNailBattle - Graffiti Nails

This sunday's battle theme is Graffiti Nails, and Andreia and Odile wanted us to use some neon colors.

I can't help myself associating Graffiti Nails with the wonderful Algae Veronica. I already tried her graffiti nails a few months ago here! As I love her work, I logically took my inspiration from what she did.

So this time, I took my neon polishes and here's what I came up with :

I love these!! And hubby told me he loved them too, so I'm kind of proud!

Can't wait to see what ideas the others had on this theme!!

Bye!

A England - Dragon & Gradient

Hey girls!

Sorry if I've been a little MIA lately, but I dedicated all my time to my work..! But I'm back!
Today I'm going to show you the last polish that I bought from A England which is Dragon. At a time where most of you are trying to get the wonderful Gothic Beauties, that I unfortunately can't afford right now, I'm still enjoying the wonderful polishes from the Legend's collection.
The little gold shimmers in it make this polish magical! I love it! No, I adore it!!

I couldn't resist trying to make a gradient with his big brother, Saint George!!

I don't know about you but I'm completely dazzled by these colors. They're just amazing!!

For those of you who noticed, yes I'm wearing acrylic nails. I love these because they look so natural. Unless you know it, it's hard to notice that these are false nails. Would you like me to tell you more about these acrylic nails?

Bye !!

#TheSundayNailBattle - Mosaïc Nails

This sunday, for the Sunday Nail Battle Andreia and Odile gave us a new theme to play with which is Mosaïc Nails. We have to use at least three different colors to achieve this manicure.

When you google Mosaïc Nails, you can see really awesome stuff. At first I wanted to do really tiny mosaïcs on my nails, but I decided to go with bigger ones. Not only it was easier, but it also allowed me to be more precise. I applied two coats of my favorite black nail polish and then I took my Kiko holographics nail polishes to do this :

It's not as perfect as I would want it to be, but I really like how it looks.

And as it's sunny today, here are some additional pics under sunlight :

I hope you'll enjoy what's left from your weekend!

Bourjois - Python Top Coat

Bourjois is a brand that I truly cherish, and I've already told you how much I loved their polishes.
Back when I was living in Tunisia, it was the only affordable brand that was imported there. It's with Bourjois that my interest in make-up, eyeshadows and polishes started.

So when I saw that this new top coat was going to be released, I knew I had to get it! I've been looking for this top coat for a while and I don't know why but I couldn't find it in stores. But lately, I've seen more and more swatches of it, and I had to find it! So during my lunch break, I did many shops and I finally bought it!!!
And as always with Bourjois, I wasn't disappointed! I layered it over a nude beige polish and here's what it looks like !

It's really easy to apply, and you can build your layer without ruining it all. If you do a really thin coat you'll have a very crackeled effect (like on my middle finger), and if you do a thicker coat the scales will be more visible. I love both of the effects, and it's really easier to use than OPI's Black Spotted top coat for instance. It takes a little time for the effect to appear.

I love the texture of this top coat! The fine scales of this python effect give to your nails a unique look! I think that it would look great with a matte top coat over it too.

I think that it's definitely a must have for fall. The color is just perfect for this season.

What do you think about it? Would you buy it if you could? Have you already tried it?
What are you girls up to this weekend?

xoxo,
