#TheSundayNailBattle - Animals

This week's theme for the Sunday Nail Battle is Animals.

Therefore I was inspired by my two cats Tigrou and Osiris. I love them so much. They're both cute but so different!

So here are the pictures that inspired me :

And here's the result :

I think that it's funny to wear this on my nails!

Bye!

The Sunday Nail Battle is an idea from Andreia and Odile :)

Nails inspired by Revlon

Hey there!

How are you doing? It's getting colder here, but everything's just fine :)
As I told you in my guest post for Cristina of Let them have Polish, I'm generally inspired by textures, patterns, colors .. that I see on clothes or on other stuff. In fact, I'm inspired by everything that can be reproduced on my nails!
So, this weekend, while I was surfing on Youtube, I saw a review about a Revlon Colorburst lipstick. And I fell in love with the packaging! I had to try this on my nails! So here we go :

And here's what the lipstick looks like :

I also remember that The PolishAholic had done something similar to this recently with a great tutorial inside! She was inspired by a phone case for this one!
I love what I came up with, and I love this padded effect! I just think that maybe I should have listened to myself when I hesitated on cutting in half my striping tape to have something thinner! But I'm keeping this idea for another mani!!

What do you think about this? Where do you get your inspiration?

Oh, and I almost forgot to say welcome to all of my new followers!! <3

My Vuitton Nails

Hey girls!

I'm back today with some pretty cool nails! Thanks to Spellbinding Nails, I've won some great stamping plates that I was willing to buy. Particularly the FUN2 plate from Fab Ur Nails. And the first design I wanted to try is the Louis Vuitton one. To do something similar to the well-known purse motif, I applied two coats of Bourjois Brun Laqué. And I used Essie Good as Gold for the stamping!

I can't afford a Vuitton purse, but at least I have some pretty awesome Vuitton nails!

About the plate, I was impressed by the quality of the designs. They transfer very well, and they are very detailed.
I'd totally recommend you these plates if you don't have them already! You can find everything about the plates here and you can order them here!

What do you think about it? I'll be parading all day with these Vuitton nails!!

Have a nice day!

OPI - Brisbane Bronze

Hey girls!

So fall is here and it's been raining a lot lately. It's a very strange weather, a fall weather I guess. But I like fall because you can start burning some candles and prepare for winter!
My favorite color for fall is bronze. The coppery reflects make me think of the bright reds we see in leaves before they fall of trees. And one of my favorite bronzes is OPI's Brisbane Bronze. It looks perfects in two coats, but you can also apply it over a black base. And the black base gives it a completely different look.

To achieve this mani, I applied two coats of OPI's Lady in Black and one coat of my fast drying top coat. Then I taped my nails with some striping tape. I applied two coats of Brisbane Bronze and I gently removed the pieces of tape. I finished with my go-to top coat!

What do you think about it?

What are your favorite colors for fall?

#TheSundayNailBattle - Water Marble

Hey there!!

Water Marble is the theme of this week's Sunday Nail Battle. Again, Andreia and Odile, it's a great idea!!

I love this technique. Each marble you will do will be unique. And that's what I love about it. You can be so creative!

I took three colors : white, purple and my Ozotic 509. I wanted to try to do something psychedelic with some swirls and here's the result :

I really love what I came out with, unless my ring finger that looks a bit different :)

Do you like the water marble technique?

Peggy Sage - Féérique Mauve

Today I wanted to try one of the latest polish that I got from Peggy Sage which is "Féérique Mauve (223)".
I was completely seduced by the gold reflects it had, and when I applied it, it dried pretty quickly!
Here we go :

See? I love that depending on the lighting, the color looks so different!!
I added a little stamping that I did with the Mash-37 plate and Passion from China Glaze.

What do you think about it?

OPI - Over the Taupe

Hey there!!

OPI's Over the Taupe, is in fact the first OPI polish that I have ever bought. It was a few years ago!
I 'd been looking for this kind of taupe for a while, and when I saw that OPI made the perfect one, I knew I had to get it. At that time, OPI wasn't available everywhere in France. Only some Sephora stores were selling it. And that's where I found it! Too bad they were a little pricy. And they still are. I don't know why but here in France, an OPI polish costs about 14€ (18$). Pretty expensive, isn't it?
But, this is the perfect taupe!! Not too light and not too dark. I made a little stamping over it using my Konad M70 plate and Joy from China Glaze.

What about you? What was your first OPI polish?

xoxo,
