#TheSundayNailBattle - Fifty Shades of Grey

Hey there!!

First, I wanted to tell you that I'm so sorry because I'm a little late on translating my posts, but don't forget that you can always check my main site http://www.didolines-nails.com to see my latest creations!!

So this week's Sunday Nail Battle Theme is "Fifty Shades of Grey". The Sunday Nail Battle is an idea of Odile and Andreia !
Andreia loves this book series, and even if I wasn't interested in those books, she finally convinced me and I started reading the first one.
Back to the battle, we had to use grey to achieve our mani. I hesitated between a water marble, and a gradient. And I went for a gradient to show my fifty shades of grey! I started with a white base, and here's the final result :

Let's zoom in :

I love doing gradients and I love how it looks!!

I hope you'll like this too!!

Soft Gradient with Lime Crime

So,

Fall is here, and I don't know if it's the same where you're living but here in Brittany, it's raining a lot.
I wanted to do something colorful to cheer me up a little!
At first, I was going to use some neon colors, but I finally took my Lime Crime polishes !
I put two coats of Milky Ways as a base, and I made the gradient with the six other colors.

Here we go:

Taking pics with a macro lens is great, but you can see all the little imperfections and that kind of freaks me out!!
But from a reasonable distance, it looks pretty good !

What do you think about it?

Bye!!

Blue Stripes

When I applied Once in a Blue Mousse on my nails yesterday, this idea came to my mind.
I took all the blue polish shades that I had and went for this blue gradient/stripes nails.

I've seen many of these on pinterest lately with many different colors! I always love how it looks!

What do you think about it?

A England - Dragon & Gradient

Hey girls!

Sorry if I've been a little MIA lately, but I dedicated all my time to my work..! But I'm back!
Today I'm going to show you the last polish that I bought from A England which is Dragon. At a time where most of you are trying to get the wonderful Gothic Beauties, that I unfortunately can't afford right now, I'm still enjoying the wonderful polishes from the Legend's collection.
The little gold shimmers in it make this polish magical! I love it! No, I adore it!!

I couldn't resist trying to make a gradient with his big brother, Saint George!!

I don't know about you but I'm completely dazzled by these colors. They're just amazing!!

For those of you who noticed, yes I'm wearing acrylic nails. I love these because they look so natural. Unless you know it, it's hard to notice that these are false nails. Would you like me to tell you more about these acrylic nails?

Bye !!

A England Gradient & Summer Swap

Hi girls!

This week-end I received my last order from A England which is Bridal Veil. Now I have all the colors I wanted ! This one id my favorite. I love how this black sparkles.

I also love love love Lady of the Lake so I decided to do a gradient with these two colors !

I love the result! I think I'm also going to try a gradient with dear mister Saint George!!

Also I received my summer swap which was organised by Andreia.

I had to send my swap to Ninanthea who had to send hers to Cocoberry who had to send hers to me.

So here's what I got :

She did a pretty good job! She completely understood that I was totally addicted to nail polishes. I love everything single thing of this swap!
Here are more pictures :

And here are the swatches of the polishes :

As you can see I already have some ideas on how to combine all of these pretty colors!!
This first swap was very cool and I can't wait to do another one!!

Gradient & Stamping

Hey there!

Today, it's going to be a quick post as I have a lot of work, and stuff to prepare before going on travel for work.
Yesterday, I didn't want to remove the gradient from my nails, but I still wanted something different. So I decided to stamp my nails with one of the designs of the new BM plates.

Here's a quick way to change your mani and have different nails almost effortlessly. I like doing this when I don't have much time to do my nails.
What do you do in this case? Would you rather have nothing on your nails, or wear a simple mani?

xoxo!

The Sunday Nail Battle - Gradient Nails

Sunday Nail Battle tiiiiime!! This week theme is Gradient Nails, theme chosen by Andreia and Odile. If you want more info on what the sunday battle is you can go to my SNB page!
I love doing gradients on my nails. I wanted to try this gradient with a combo of three Essie colors I already tried with my tirangles nails : Splash of Grenadine, Jam N'Jelly, and Nothing Else Metals.

In fact starting from the base to the top coat, I used only Essie products! And for the gradient I didn't use make-up sponges, I used traditionnal sponges that didn't cost me much.

I really like how these three colors work together and I think I think it works thanks to the hint of pink that's in Nothing Else Metals !

See you soon!
